Task Killer is a tool to kill
applications running. This version is pro version which doesn't contain ads.
Task Killer allows you to
quickly terminate applications, ie. you may "kill" a frozen
application by clicking on the taskbar's Task Killer icon and choosing it from
the list. You will forget clumsy key combination Ctrl-Alt-Del forever!

Getting started with
Task Killer
After
Task Killer has been installed on your computer, you can run the program from
the Start menu (Start -> Programs -> Task Killer -> Task Killer). You
will see Task Killer icon in the system tray. When you click on the tray icon
by left mouse button you will see the popup menu contains processes and/or
visible windows list. If you decide to unload any program just click on the
item identify the program you need to kill. Also you can start and stop services
on your computer (Windows NT/2000/XP).
You
can enable "Load at Windows startup" option at Settings -> Common.
When this option is enabled, Task Killer runs automatically when Windows
starts.

Using Task
Killer
If
you want to unload application just click on the Task Killer's tray icon by
left mouse button (or press hotkey you assign to call popup menu). You'll see
the popup menu which includes a list of processes and(or) windowed application
depending on Task Killer settings. Choose application you want to unload and
appplication will be unloaded. Also you may stop and start services.
Note:
System
processes (Windows NT/2000/XP) are drawn with a green color by default, you may
change it in Task Killer settings. It is not recommended to kill system
processes.
Warning!
Killing
certain applications may cause your system to become unstable. You may set up
Task Killer to ask you "Are you sure?" before unloading application.

Unsaved
application data may be lost. Be sure you want to unload the application.

Command
line support (wildcards (*,?) are supported):
"taskkiller.exe
-all" : all applications contains visible windows will be
"killed".

-allforce" : all applications contains visible windows + Explorer.exe will
be "killed".
"taskkiller.exe
-wname winname" : application will be unloaded if _window_ name contains
"winname".
"taskkiller.exe
-exename appname" : application will be unloaded if _program_ name
contains "appname".
In
registered version only:
"taskkiller.exe
-shortmenu" : only one item menu("Exit") is showed in right
mouse button popup menu.
"taskkiller.exe
-nomenu" : right mouse button popup menu is turned off.
